The organisers of the eighteenth Tire Technology Expo Conference are calling for technical presentations. The language of the conference will be English, and 20-25 minutes will be available for each presentation.

Speakers will have free access to the full conference programme plus an invitation to be our guest at the Gala Dinner, where the Annual Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence will be presented.

Sessions in 2018 will provisionally include:

  • Tires for tomorrows transport systems, shaping the future
  • Tire manufacturing of tomorrow
  • Tires of the future, pneumatic or non-pneumatic, new concepts in design and performance, tires for electric vehicles
  • The introduction of new developments in polymers, fillers and additives for improved tire performance
  • Better regulations and compliance standards, moving towards realistic testing and mathematical prediction
  • New characteristics from tire cords and steel wire
  • The development of tire and vehicle modelling and the comparison with real tire test data
  • The vision for green, replenishable, sustainable and recycled materials
  • The measurement of tire compound performance and the development of prediction theories
  • New understanding in the performance of off-road tires, on unbound surfaces, racetracks and runways
  • Tire in-service monitoring, non-contact identifying and supply of data to garage and internet
  • High magnification studies of polymer and filler interactions
