Sled, barrier and full-scale crash test applications require cameras that can not only withstand high g forces, but also provide high image quality at high enough speeds to capture the action. With more than 150g/10m/s in all axes, the new Fastcam Mini CX (self-contained type) and MH6 (multi-head type) from Photron provide full-HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) recording at 1,000 frames per second. The small, lightweight camera design is suitable for use in harsh and space-limited locations and has a unique CMOS image sensor optimized for high light sensitivity.
