KRD12 Series high energy battery shock test system
CME

Battery technology is developing at a breathtaking pace and the safety and reliability testing needs of batteries are growing as well.

As a result, CME will be showcasing at Automotive Testing Expo Korea its KRD12 series, a high-energy battery-shock test system suitable for various battery testing procedures. The series meets battery testing standards such as UN38.3, IEC62281, IEC62133-2, UL2054, SAE J2464, SAE J2929, ISO12405-3 and UL2580. It is a fully automatic pneumatic driving shock test system that is easy to maintain.

The system can perform classic half-sine battery tests such as 16g@60ms, 24g@16ms, 25g@15ms, 30g@15ms, 50g@11ms, 50g@15ms and 150g@6ms. It can also conduct the high-energy shock test, to simulate the shock energy that they are subjected to in the real world. The purpose of the test is to ensure the safety and reliability of batteries and products.

Its main system functions include a windows-based control system, pneumatic drive technology, automatic control of shock speed, high strength and hardness cast aluminum table and multiple waveforms.
High-energy battery-shock testing specifications include: 60g@45ms, 24g@50ms, 90g@20ms, 150g@15ms, 70g@45ms, 300g@11ms, and 200g@10ms.
